Each AEQ features two independently engagable sections -
- The Line Amplifier is a deep class-A biased fully discrete amplifier with a gain range of +12db to -6db on a front gain knob. Perfect as an additional makeup gain from a lower output preamp, or as summing amp makeup gain duty, or simply as a creative control much like a fader on a console.
- The AEQ equalizer section comes straight from the big CEQ - a fixed 82hz Low Boost shelf and the complete 12 position CEQ High Boost section, with inductor bells and shelves for the 'never harsh' texture and lift for any source and audio. The makeup gain amplifier is exactly the same as the big CEQ, and no quality or substitutions are skipped in parts or inductors.
Both sections can be used together for a 'mini console' channel sound that comes from the mid-sized SEQ.
Balanced input, single ended output.
